New Earth remains to be a scarcely populated place, while the homeland, where the majority of earthlings reside, is in a dire state. The only fix is to obtain a compound known as lithidium which has the unique properties to be manipulated into other elements or compounds with relative ease. The year is 2064 and Alex McPhee, a bounty hunter, makes her return to the front line as an Artorm Fighter after being away for four years.
